Barley Porridge

1. Bring one measure of milk to boil.
2. Add half a measure of Barley flakes
3. Stir well and remove from heat. Rest for 3 mins.
4. Add one chopped fresh fruits, nuts and raisins
5. Add sugar to taste (optional)
6. Serve hot.

Savoury Barley Porridge

1. Bring one measure of water to boil and add three fourth measure of Barley flakes.
2. Stir, remove from heat and rest for 3 minutes
3. Prepare a seasoning of mustard, cumin, asafoetida and a few curry leaves
4. Add half a cup of curd and some freshly chopped corinader
