We distill the base gin and the citrus distillate separately and then bring them together while blending in proportions, that are proprietary.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn our citrus distillate, they use whole fruits instead of peels, because market research pointed out that people find gin to be dehydrating. We believe this is due to the presence of citrus peels, which impart a certain bitterness and lend to dehydration.
